Arrive as early as 3pm for a welcome beverage, lawn games, and explore the beautiful property and views of Switzer Farm.
Ceremony begins at 4:00pm
followed by drinks, dinner, and lots of dancing.
Recommended attire: Both events will take place outside, so bring your fiercest jackets and shawls. Also be prepared to walk on uneven ground and party on the lawn - stick with wedges, block heels, or a fancy flat!

Join us the night before our wedding for a drink or two, or just to say hello! Stop by anytime from 7pm to 9pm at the Old Abelone Pub of Westport Hotel. There will be a cash only bar set up for our party on the patio with a selection of wine and beers. Kick off the weekend with us and enjoy the beautiful sunset ocean views of Westport! You can also take an easy two minute walk across the road to our favorite Westport beach!

Stop by the house the morning after the wedding for some final hugs, laughs, and grab a bagel or pastry for the road! Come by anytime between 9-11am.

Switzer Farm is located in Westport, Ca, a TINY coastal town located about 25 minutes north of Fort Bragg. We hope for as many guests as possible to find lodging in or close to Westport, and have highlighted the best options here:
In Westport
Air Bnb/VRBO: We counted 9 rentals in Westport. Snag one those bad boys for amazing views and walk to the venue in minutes!
Westport Inn: Very affordable and walking distance from the venue.
Westport Hotel: Beautiful rooms & walking distance from the venue.
Westport Beach RV Park: For those who enjoy roughin' it, this park is nestled in a cove less than a mile from the venue and offers tent and RV camping, as well as a small cabin available to reserve. Camping guests have access to showers, bathrooms, and laundry service.
Just outside of Westport
Howard Creek Ranch: A quirky coastal bed & breakfast, just a short 7 minute drive from the venue.
Newport Inn: For those feeling fancy, treat yo' self to a luxury stay at this stunning coastal ranch with a 10 minute drive to the venue.
Fort Bragg
For those who do decide to stay a bit further away in Fort Bragg, we have arranged for shuttle service to take guests to and from the venue. Details of the shuttle service will be shared at a later date, but for your convenience, we encourage you to stay in one of the following hotels to be close to the shuttle pick up location:

Ok, we're excited about this one. To squeeze in some more lodging options in Westport, we've reserved 5 'glamping' tents that will be set up on the amazing property at Switzer Farm. Each tent can hold up to two queen or four twin beds. Guests will have access to the guest cottage for showers and restroom needs. Available first come, first serve. Contact the bride or groom for pricing and info.

Getting There
Highlighted below are the closest airports and their driving distance to Westport. Unfortunately, flying to either will require a rental car or to find a friend nearby to drive with. On the plus side, each comes with its own stunning California views that will not disappoint!

Road Trip!
Parking
There is a large lot for parking on the north side of Switzer Farm. Turn off of Highway 1 onto Pacific Ave, and you will find signs directing to the lot on your left.
Shuttle Service
If you are staying in Fort Bragg, we have arranged for shuttle service to transport guests to and from the venue. Pick up will be in the parking lot of Beach Comber Motel at 2:30pm courtesy of Julie's Trips & Tours. If you plan to use the shuttle, please let the Bride or Groom know so that we can give Julie a passenger list and ensure no one gets left behind!
Things to Do
We first fell in love with Mendocino County during a long trip up the coast on our way to Oregon. We've returned quite a few times since then, and are happy to share our favorite things to do and places to see:
Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens
If nothing else, go to the gardens! It's one of our absolute favorite places. Explore 47 acres of gorgeousness all the way out to the bluffs, grab lunch at their yummy cafe, and don't miss the dahlia garden at peak season!
Downtown Mendocino
Just a bit further south from Fort Bragg is Mendocino. It's a super cute coastal town where you can enjoy some afternoon shopping, and we recommend taking a walk through the trails of Mendocino Headlands State Park.
Pacific Star Winery
It's a winery with epic ocean views...nuff said.
Westport Headlands Beach
While in Westport, we recommend taking some time to walk down to this small, beautiful, black sand beach, just a few minutes walking distance from the venue.
Local Watering Holes
In Fort Bragg we recommend North Coast Brewing Co., and if you like a dive bar vibe go for Golden West Saloon. There's just one bar in Westport: the Old Abalone Pub of Westport Hotel.

We appreciate our friends and family coming from near and far to celebrate our 'I Do's', and your attendance is as good a gift as any!
